Tesla Semi
A battery-electric Class 8 tractor in two ranges. Figures are Tesla's own, simulated at 82,000 lb, 55 mph, 20 °C on flat ground with an aero kit and a dry van. Tires, fairings and trailer choice change them a lot.

Charging
- Megacharger: up to 1.2 MW, adding up to 60% of range in about 30 minutes (Long Range).
- Basecharger (depot): 120 kW, adding up to 60% in about 4 hours.
- Both use the MCS truck-charging standard.
- Tesla estimates Basecharger deliveries to businesses begin in early 2027.

On September 22, 2026 the ZET SCALE alliance announced an order for 2,500 battery-electric Class 8 trucks with Tesla as primary maker. Its first freight hubs include Houston, Dallas and San Antonio.
